Liat grew up in Israel and the Washington, D.C. area. They have worked to end partner abuse and sexual assault in Virginia, Boston, and San Diego since 2001. At UC Berkeley they focus on primary prevention with faculty and staff to promote respect, healthy boundaries, and equity in the workplace. Liat regularly presents at statewide and national conferences on transformative justice and issues related to sexual and relationship violence within LGBTQIA+, polyamorous, and BDSM communities. In their free time Liat loves hiking with their dog, solving puzzles, and finding hidden art.
