The Field Safety and Prevention Guide provides practical strategies while preparing for, during, and after field activities to improve safety and reduce the likelihood of harassment or violence. It was designed to be used by graduate students, faculty, and field site coordinators who are doing or overseeing research, internships, conferences, or other academic work in off-campus locations. The Guide expands on illness and injury prevention planning for field placements to include prevention of sexual harassment and violence, stalking, relationship violence, and protection against retaliation for reporting.
