Emily is originally from a Southern California beach town and moved to the Bay in 2019. Beginning with peer prevention work at UC Irvine’s CARE Office, Emily has worked in different fields of interpersonal violence, including high school prevention work, PREA advocacy, and community training. She is passionate about recognizing intersectionalities in advocacy and the role of different systems in supporting all survivors. In her free time, Emily enjoys trying new food spots, volunteering with dogs, and spoiling her cat.
