Dolores Vega

she/her/ella – Advocate MSW Intern

Dolores (she/her/ella) is a first-generation Chicana, originally from the Eastern Coachella Valley. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at CSU San Bernardino. Her work has been in elections campaigning, youth development, substance use prevention, environmental justice and civil rights advocacy in her community. She is currently a 2nd-year MSW student, with a concentration in strengthening organizations and communities; she is joining Path to Care as an MSW Survivor Support intern.

Dolores is passionate about transformative justice and community-based participatory research as a means of creating, advocating for, and implementing policy initiatives that structurally and sustainably work to prevent harm. In her free time she enjoys a good book, painting, and creative writing.
