Ashika John recently graduated with a Master’s in Public Health specializing in Infectious Diseases and Vaccinology in May 2022 from UC Berkeley. She also completed her undergraduate degree from Berkeley in 2020 in Molecular and Cell Biology. She joined the PATH to Care Center as a sophomore undergraduate in 2017, continuing to work at the center in a variety of student staff leadership positions for the past 5 years. She is also associated with the Alameda County Public Health Department on both their COVID-19 Health Equity team and Violence Prevention Working Group. As Interim Undergraduate Prevention Manager, she is excited to utilize her knowledge as a PATH to Care team member, experience as a UC Berkeley student, passion for community health education, and training in public health frameworks and prevention strategies.
